Magnetic Induction

Introduction This test investigates magnetic induction, as governed by Faradays get-go Law. When the magnetic flux threading a circut is changing, an E.M.F. is induced in the circut. The experiment involves dropping a magnet through a handbuild of wire and observing the result on a PC found scope. Equipment Required • A Pico Magnetic induction Kit • A PC ground oscilloscope with PicoScope software running. We use the ADC-212 yet any of our PC based scopes would have been suitable. Experiment Setup |The tube- rolling wave locating is mounted vertically. We used a clamp and |[pic] | |stand. |Figure 1 :- Setup of Equipment | |The coil is connected to channel A of the oscilloscope. | | |PicoScope was clan channel A to the 500mV range (the correct range | | |will depend on the output from your coil).
